Privacy & cookies policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
This policy describes how personal data is handled on etradershub.com, the website of the eTraders Hub podcast.
1. Data controller
The data controller is GSI Global Team Event L.L.C, a limited liability company (LLC) incorporated in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), commercial licence DED no. 714817, commercial register no. 1141921 and tax registration number (TRN) 100366385100003, with registered address at Office 302-066, Saih Shuaib 2, Dubai, U.A.E. (P.O. Box 3441), which operates this website and the eTraders Hub podcast brand.
Privacy contact: info@gsiglobalteam.com.
Sponsor and guest enquiries: the buttons on the site write to diego@etradershub.com, which is where those messages arrive and are kept. For anything about privacy, or to exercise your rights, the address is info@gsiglobalteam.com.
2. What data we collect
Launch-notification form: your email address, the site language and the date and time of consent.
Technical cookies: your cookie-consent choice is stored locally in your browser.
Analytics cookies: only if you expressly accept them in the cookie notice. Today the site loads no analytics without your consent.
Email contact (sponsors and guests): the data you voluntarily send to info@gsiglobalteam.com.
Trader's Day pre-registration: first and last name, email, phone with country code, any social profiles you choose to leave us, the city and ticket type you pick, and your questionnaire answers (time trading, markets you follow, whether you trade with your own capital or a funded account, which instruments, whether you have used funding, how you found us and who recommended us). We also store the language, the date and time of each permission you tick, the source campaign if you arrive from an ad, and your IP address.
City vote: if your city has no date, the same pre-registration records which city you are voting for.
3. Purposes and legal basis
Notifying you about the project launch and sending podcast updates (newsletter). Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to info@gsiglobalteam.com.
Replying to sponsor and guest enquiries. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and legitimate interest in responding.
Providing your email is voluntary; without it we cannot send you the launch notice. We make no automated decisions with legal effect and do not carry out profiling within the meaning of art. 22 GDPR.
Managing your Trader's Day pre-registration: confirmations, the venue once it is fixed, reminders by email, and the recordings and certificate after the event. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a), ticked separately on the form and withdrawable by writing to info@gsiglobalteam.com.
Understanding who is coming: questionnaire answers are used in aggregate to build the programme and to describe the audience to sponsors. We never hand a sponsor your individual data: if you want to leave your details with a brand at the event, that happens through a separate act of yours (scanning their code), and from that point the brand answers for its own processing.
Receiving marketing communications about the event and the podcast: only if you tick that box, which is optional and does not condition your registration.
4. Providers and transfers
Email: Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., United States) stores the subscriber list and sends the mail on our behalf.
Hosting: the site's servers are in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH), inside the European Union.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) with the IP anonymised, and Ahrefs Analytics, which sets no cookies. Neither loads unless you accept cookies.
Video: episodes play from YouTube. There Google acts on its own account rather than as our processor, and its policies apply. The player does not load until you ask for it.
We do not pass your address to anyone. If you opted in to offers from companies in the sector, we send those emails ourselves: your address never leaves our list.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area: hosting involves none, because the servers are in the European Union. There are transfers to the United States with Resend and Google, relying on the EU-US adequacy decision (Data Privacy Framework) for certified entities or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. And to the United Arab Emirates, where the controller is: that country has no adequacy decision, so that transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses. You can request a copy of these safeguards at info@gsiglobalteam.com.
Registration database: hosted on the site's own server in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH), inside the European Union. Reminders are sent by us by email.
5. How long we keep each thing
Email on the list: for as long as the subscription is active. If you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, it is deleted from the sending system.
The record of your consent (date, language, source and the version of the text you accepted): 3 years from the end of the subscription. It outlives the address itself because it is the proof that consent existed, and without it we could not demonstrate that if anyone questioned it.
Google Analytics 4 data: 14 months. That is the maximum the tool offers and it allows one year to be compared with the previous one. Google Signals is switched off, so your data is not joined across devices and is not used for personalised advertising.
Server logs (technical records including the IP address, needed to run the site and to detect abuse): 14 days, then deleted automatically.
Mail from sponsors and prospective guests: for as long as the conversation lasts and up to 1 year afterwards, in case it is picked up again.
Trader's Day pre-registration data: up to 12 months after the edition you registered for, to run the event, send you the recordings and certificate, and tell you about the next edition if you gave that permission. The record of your permissions (date, language and version of the text): 3 years, for the same reason as the mailing list.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@gsiglobalteam.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. In Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, www.aepd.es); in other jurisdictions, the relevant local authority.
7. Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work and to remember your language, and analytics cookies that do not load until you accept them. We use no advertising cookies and do no profiling.
The full inventory, with each cookie's name, who sets it, what it does and how long it lasts, is in the Cookie policy, linked from the footer and from the notice itself.
8. Minors
This site is not directed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes to this policy
Any change to this policy will be published here with its update date.
